Moon Threads September 5 2009
The moon is full,
Its craggy shadows beaming down at me.
I gaze upward, thinking of you "up there."
Then I wonder why we think
Of God and spirits peering down.
Spirit's everywhere -- within, around --
Universal source, thread of life,
Fabric of creation.
Even if I think you're looking down at me,
Peeking from behind the clouds,
You're also woven into every fiber of my being.
We're entwined, forever, everyplace our souls may roam.
